How is your house making you feel?

I read a great article, (link below for full article and worksheet) about making your home happy. For many, these economic times aren’t the best and they would like to move and can’t or have been forced to move and the space that they’re in is not giving them the feeling of satisfaction in their lives that they would like. In the article it talks about ranking your rooms and how you feel when in the room. Then going back and figuring out your low scores and what the reason for the low score was. Then taking the list you tackle the worst score and describe why it had the lowest score, taking those descriptors you then take the antonyms (meaning the opposite) of the word, then figure out what needs to be done to make it happen. I thought this article was a great insight and realistic exercise on how to make things better wherever you currently are. I realized my lower scores came from my “clutter” spots, if they are messy, I am feeling chaotic, if they are neat and orderly I am feeling on top of things and in control, which personally speaking, makes me happy. Not everyone is the same and that is why the exercise in the article is a great way to figure out what you can do to make your house the very best spot for you at this time.

Have fun with it and let us know how it works for you.
