Easy Chocolate Fondue and when cooled makes a great fudge

Pre-kids, we loved the Melting Pot restaurant, it is awesome but very expensive as well. We talked about it and said, this can’t be that hard to do, we loved the cheese fondue and the dessert fondue. So instead of going and spending at the Melting Pot, we decided to buy an electric fondue pot and a recipe book. We found this Basic Chocolate Chip Fondue to be the best and easiest way to have a quick fun dessert with or without the kids.

1 3/4 Cup chocolate chips
1/3 Cup plus 2 tablespoons light cream
1 tablespoon of Liqueur (optional)

We aren’t drinkers so we don’t do the Liqueur but we cut up pound cake, bananas, strawberries, cookies, brownies, whatever we have around the house and dip it in.

What is really cool is if we have leftovers, I put it in a Ziploc container and put it in frig, this was by accident, didn’t know it would make a fantastic, easy fudge that is amazing.
