Conserve water if you don’t have a low-flow toilet
By setting a gallon, 1/2 gallon, quart or even a 20oz bottle of water inside your toilet tank, it will raise the water level in your tank and “trick” your toilet into thinking it is full without having to use as much water. I have heard this one before but sometimes we forget the easy steps that we can take to help with our conservation efforts. The next question comes up how much is enough water? Can you do this same thing in a low-flow toilet to get even better results? I am not sure on that one, anyone know?
